Paul Austin

Paul Austin, experienced Oklahoma lawyerPaul W. Austin has roots in Oklahoma going back to Hefner Junior High and Putnam City High Schools. He left Oklahoma briefly to achieve his undergraduate degree from the renowned Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois.

Law Education

Thereafter, he returned to receive his juris doctorate from Oklahoma City University School of Law. Paul Austin was licensed by the Supreme Court of Oklahoma to practice law in 1985. He has also been admitted into the Federal Court of Oklahoma—Western District.

Law and Speaking Experience

Paul W. Austin has worked in many areas of law and has been asked to be a speaker by the Oklahoma State Bar Association Family Law Division, the Cleveland County Bar Association and the Norman Housing Authority. He has been a keynote speaker for the State Homeless Convention, NAHRO and the State Health Care Convention on AIDS and HIV.

Community Involvement

Paul W. Austin has additionally worked within his community. He is the past president of Health for Friends, the Sooner Theater and the Cleveland County Bar Association. He has volunteered on the boards of Transition House, Thunderbird Clubhouse and Meals on Wheels. Additionally, he has worked avidly as a fundraiser for the YWCA in Oklahoma City, the Women’s Resource Center and the Cleveland County United Way.
